Fell & Sell Boss Guide: Preparation Before the First Encounter

A preparation checklist for difficult rooms and boss-level fights without inventing names or mechanics that the launch evidence does not confirm.

Quick answer

Prepare the same way you prepare for a deep floor: bring a controllable weapon, keep recovery items, leave room to dodge, and bank valuable loot before entering an optional high-difficulty room. The public sources do not yet establish a complete boss-name or move-set list.

Before you commit

  • Heal and check that at least one recovery option remains.
  • Store valuable materials so a failed attempt does not erase the whole run.
  • Confirm the next teleport route and keep an escape line.
  • Choose a boon whose downside you understand.
  • Do not enter a special room while testing a brand-new weapon.

Special rooms are optional tests

The gameplay evidence describes special rooms as high-difficulty challenges with better rewards. They should be treated as a risk/reward branch, not as a required room on every run. A failed room is expensive when the inventory is still unbanked.

What this page will add later

Once players provide repeatable released-build evidence, each encounter can get a dedicated section for trigger, arena, attacks, recommended preparation, reward and patch date. Until then, an honest preparation checklist is more useful than a guessed boss list.

Sources and scope

The official Steam page confirms dungeon danger, rarer deeper loot and altar-driven playstyles. The Steam Community Guides hub is the live player-reference index. Special-room observations come from Fell & Sell.md; boss names and exact mechanics remain unverified.
